Backlog Update

As of 28 April, there are 35 unallocated substance/maladministration cases in the queue; this is a reduction of 4 cases from last month.  Unfortunately, there are still significant delays in allocating cases to an investigator, and we currently have 20 unallocated cases that were received in 2019. Our staff are working remotely to reduce the backlog. However, we are experiencing a few delays accessing certain information as the Services are also working remotely. We are continuing to accept applications for investigations, so if you are considering making an application to us, please do not delay because deadlines still apply.

Please be aware that under government guidelines we cannot go into our office, so we are unable to receive the post. Please send any correspondence to us by email if you can.
