As of 30 June there were 27 unallocated substance and maladministration cases. This is an increase of 10 cases since last month and it is now taking us six months to allocate these types of cases to an investigator. A new Senior Investigator is due to join the team at the beginning of August and it is hoped at least one more person will also be joining us shortly to help reduce the waiting time.

There are no delays in processing applications for referrals, admissibility reviews or undue delay investigations. However, please we aware we do not have access to our office and so we will not be able to process anything that is sent to us by post.
