As of 31 March 2020, there are 39 unallocated substance and maladministration cases in the queue. This is a reduction of 11 cases since 28 February 2020. There is currently a wait of 11 months for a case to be allocated to an investigator. This is an improvement from last month, but we appreciate that the wait time is still too long.
Due to the coronavirus, all SCOAF staff are working at home where possible. We are still accepting applications to our office, and are able to answer questions regarding the Ombudsman’s powers and the Service Complaints process.
